FAQs
Please do feel free to contact us if you have any questions that you'd like answered.

Q. How do you transfer cine films?
A. We have invested in equipment that means we can transfer your reel to DVD using frame by frame image capture. Included in our transfer price is colour correction, a chapter point for each reel (so you can easily navigate your DVD), royalty free music and minor editing.

Q. How do I know how long my cine-film footage is?
A. Generally, there are three sizes of reel.  A 3" reel runs for about 4 minutes, a 5" reel for 15 minutes and the 7" reel will hold 30 minutes.

Q. How many hours of footage can you fit onto a DVD?
A. We can fit around 90 minutes of footage on each DVD.

Q. Can you put photos onto a DVD?
A. Yes.  We can scan in slides, negatives, original photographs or memorabilia and create a slideshow on DVD.  We can also send these files to you on a CD along with your finished DVD.  If you've got several images, we may be able to offer you a bulk discount and it's not just photographs that we can add to a film as we can also scan newspaper clippings, letters and  certificates. .

Q. Can I personalise my DVD Menu?
A. Of course! We have DVD themed menus to suit most tastes and you can either see these on the "Our Work" page or view them at home by asking us for our free DVD demo.

Q. How can I get my footage, photos and memorabilia to you?
A. You are very welcome to drop by our office or you can post them to us.  We would always recommend that you use registered post and we'll do the same when returning your originals to you by post.

Q. What areas do you cover when filming?
A. We will film at no extra cost anywhere in Norfolk and Suffolk. We can take bookings outside these areas but we reserve the right to make an additional charge for overnight accommodation if we feel this is required due to travelling distances or early start times, etc. We will always advise you of these costs before you confirm your booking with us.

Q. What equipment do you use?
A. We use an award-winning combination of Apple's Final Cut Pro editing software and Canon's XL1s.  To give you some assurance of the high quality of our equipment, this is exactly the same set up that Danny Boyle used to film 28 Days Later.
